This a silent-block (light version)
It can reduce noises and vibrations for hard disk, fan,
burner,...
1)
The silent block (profile): we can see the cutting out
which is used to clamp the silent block in the target plate.
2)
We had to enlarge the silent block's hole to receive the
screw, the latter also has to be adapted (length).
3)
Top view of the silent block and the screw.
4)
The screw within the silent-block.
5)
Silent-block right in place.
6)
The screw right in place. No contact between the clamped
piece and the chassis, neither between the screw and the
chassis!
Found silent-block there,
but still looking for a reseller in Belgium :-(
